If she loves her veggies she must protect them Chickens will eat anything, especially lovely,juicy garden plants. Mine will even jump into the air trying to pick tomatoes off the vine!

Ah, the joys of gardening with Chickens…somehow they don’t have the same ideas about how large vegetables should be before they can be eaten. I’m sorry they were so efficient at mowing through the veggies. Hopefully you can plant more, and keep them safe.

Hi Edith! I love Meryl Streep, especially in The Devil Wears Prada! I am enjoying Blotanical so far…nice to find so many like-minded people! And I am going to have another chance to take the class in May- hooray!

Dear Beth, It is always the way that the most enjoyable things in life seem to clash. I do hope that there will be another occasion for you to attend the drawing class.

Reading through some of your earlier postings, I was interested to see that you had enjoyed the film Julie and Julia. Like you, I think Meryl Streep is a superb actress and I thought that she was on top form in this. Did you ever see her in ‘The Devil Wears Prada’?

I have noticed that you are new to Blotanical. I joined in January of this year and have found it to be fun.

Are you going to try the hair styles as well? I like anything cotton, especially in the hot summer.

Here I was thinking I was so bad for not remembering to check your blog for updates. I guess it turns out that you’re the bad one for not updating it. #1: I love the picture of Ned, #2: Start updating this thing more often, #3: When you do update it, post it in your status on Facebook (then I’ll know to go check it.) All three of your blog followers enjoy reading about your adventures, but you have to write about them first.

On another note. The In Defense of Food guy was on The Daily Show the other night and I thought of you.
